BACK TO THE CLASSROOM AFTER A LONG SAD COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Last May 28, I visited the IES Ramón Menéndez Pidal de Avilés (one of the two secondary schools dedicated to the father of Hispanic philological medievalism, one of the great philologists of all time). The performance was a display of enthusiasm and resources that the students enjoyed despite the forced and imposed use of the mask on their person and mine.

Later, the Department of Language and Literature gave me a guided tour of the center's premises to show me the legacy they treasure of the teacher Don Ramón.

A round day with a triangular base. Can a culture warrior ask for more?
