On March 7, I was honored with the delivery of La Alubia de Oro as bañezano in 2019, the highest award that is granted in my hometown, La Bañeza and one of the most famous of the León shire.
At half past one in the afternoon, the Center of the Tierras Bañezas was full of people. The members of the editorial board of El Adelanto Bañezano -one of the oldest in activity newspapers in Spain- the mayor and the councilor for culture, my family, my friends and supporters were appearing.


The first to speak was the mayor. He spoke of the eighties and the great youthful effervescence of La Bañeza, a restless and enterprising generation to which I belonged. Then Marta del Riego, my maintainer, did her performance. He pondered my teenage years, artistic development, my first performances with friends, trips and meetings. Then it was my turn. I spoke about my debut as a soloist in front of an audience where the Bishop of Astorga, Antonio Briva Miravent, was present. I would be eleven or twelve at the time. After my conversion to the minstrelsy, my funy trip to Australia, years of struggle and enthusiasm in which, as I told Marta del Riego, I never felt the need to abandon my artistic career. The event was closed by Tista Rubio, as director of El Adelanto, who praised my magnificent curriculum vitae and the magnificent articles sent from all over the world for the special issue of the publication. He claimed that I had carried the name of La Bañeza all around the world.


Later, the precious trophy was put on my hands, which fills me with pride and love for my countrymen.Then we ate and drank, sang and laughed. There was no lack of my friends from youth who I thank infinitely for their presence.

THE CULTURAL CENTER OF SPAIN IN HONDURAS (CCET) WILL HOST THE TROUBADOUR CRISPÍN D'OLOT

CRISPÍN WILL TEACH A WORKSHOP ON PERFORMING ARTS AT THE CENTRO CULTURAL DE ESPAÑA IN EL SALVADOR

After his successful tour in Honduras, the renowned troubadour Crispin d'Olot continues to travel through Central America to share his talent and knowledge. This time, Crispin will teach a workshop on performing arts at the Centro Cultural de España in El Salvador. The workshop, entitled "Secrets of a Troubadour: The Art of Storytelling; Techniques of Performance and Narration," will take place on May 2nd and 3rd from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and is aimed at artists, actors, and oral storytellers who wish to improve their technique and explore new forms of scenic expression. For two days, participants will have the opportunity to work hand in hand with one of Europe's best oral storytelling performers.
