INTERVIEW AND Q. AND A. AT DUKE UNIVERSITY
On October 17, the Department of Romance Studies at Duke University in Durham interviewed Crispin d'Olot. The moderator was Professor Luis Navarro. Teachers and students attending the event were able to enjoy an interview with micro-performances.


LOPEMAQUIA PREMIERE IN CHARLOTTE
Day 18 was the world premiere at the Ketner Auditorium of the University of Queens the play "Lopemaquia, a conversation between intimate enemies", produced formerly by Crispín d'Olot and Artistic Studio Project for the V Festival El Quijote. The event was presented by Micheke Shaul, Ph.D., director of the Center for Latino Studies nd a professor of Spanish at Queens where she was formerly Chair of the World Languages Department for 22 years.





UNC WILMINGTON THEATER PUBLIC PERFORMANCE
On the 23rd, it was the turn of the University of North Carolina Wilmington. With an absolute full, the performance was presented by
the doctor and Cervantist Michael Gordon.

PRESENTATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MEREDITH
On the 29th the last performance was held at the University of Meredith in Raleigh. With a wonderful audience and a full theater, the tribute to Lope was completed at the Quixote Festival in North Carolina.
















Crispín d'Olot visited the US to present his latest CD and participate in the V Quixote Festival, directed by the prestigious graphic artist and Puerto Rican editor Rafael A. Osuba. His visit to the state of North Carolina began on October 18 with an interview at the prestigious Duke University (Durham) in an act presented by the director of the Quixote Festival and Professor Luis Navarro. On the 19th in the auditorium of the University of Queens (Charlotte) the premiere of the play "Lopemaquia: a conversation between intimate enemies" was performed, written and performed by Crispín d'Olot and produced by Artistic Studio Project for the V Edition of Quixote Festival and dedicated to the memory of Lope de Vega. The auditorium was a theatrical party and at the end of the performance a dinner was held in the Spanish restaurant "Bulla". On this occasion, the director of the Center for Latino Studies in Queens, Michelle Shaul was in charge of presiding over the event. On the 20th Crispín dressed Siler City, a city with a 60% population of Hispanic origin, on the 21st he moved to Cape Fear College (Wilmington) where he performed for all Spanish students from kindergarten to high school. Finally, it was time for the performance presentation at the Lumina Theater at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, which registered a total and was sponsored by Doctor and Cervantist Michael Gordon. The next day, on the 23rd, it was the turn of the Methodist University of Lafayette, where Dr. Javier Pabón, acted as master of ceremonies. On Friday and Saturday, Crispin visited two children's education centers with immersion programs in the Spanish language and was interviewed by Univisión. The last public presentation of Lopemaquia took place in the auditorium of the University of Meredith (Raleigh) on the 29th. During the morning Crispin visited the classrooms of the students (it is a women's university) and at seven in the afternoon, before An English-speaking and Spanish-speaking audience, put the golden clasp to its participation the V Quixote Festival. As a farewell he dressed the next day the bilingual school "FPG" in Chaple Hill.
