THE CULTURAL CENTER OF SPAIN IN HONDURAS (CCET) WILL HOST THE TROUBADOUR CRISPÍN D'OLOT
Art unites cultures, and in April, the Cultural Center of Spain in Honduras (CCET) will host the troubadour Crispin d'Olot. This internationally recognized performing artist, known for his cultural outreach, was carefully selected by the CCET to participate in their programming for the celebration of Book Day. During his visit, Crispin will present the work "Risapalabra," a fusion of various performing arts that explores the relationship between humans, language, and oral tradition. Additionally, under the auspices of the Colectivo Teatro Bambú, a reference group in Honduran performing arts, the National Theater of the city of Tegucigalpa Manuel Bonilla will host Crispin's play, "Adventures and Readings of Don Quixote," a family show that brings the Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha to the present day. His visit not only promotes cultural exchange between Spain and Honduras, but also underscores the importance of art and culture in society. During his stay in Tegucigalpa, Crispin will provide training workshops on oral storytelling and share his experiences with artists and students in the country, mutually enriching each other in a unique opportunity to build cultural bridges between countries and communities.
